Amidst swirling rumours about the release date of the highly-anticipated sequel ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, fans were disheartened by speculations that the film’s release might be delayed until next year. The buzz around potential postponements was fueled by reports of disputes between director Sukumar and lead actor Allu Arjun, coupled with shooting delays. However, the filmmakers have now crushed these concerns with a powerful motion clip that showcases Allu Arjun in his most electrifying avatar as Goddess Gangamma.
The motion video, released by the ‘Pushpa Movie’ official Instagram account, features a striking glimpse of Pushpa in action, accompanied by the iconic “Huppp” sound that went viral after the film’s teaser. The clip, filled with intense action and dramatic music, reassures fans that the film’s release is firmly set for December 6, 2024 and it isn’t going anywhere.
The initial release date of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ was August 15, 2024, but it was later rescheduled to the end of the year. Despite the earlier delay and persistent rumours, the new update from the makers has provided a significant relief to fans. The post shared on social media reveals that the team is currently working on a “spectacular action sequence for the climax” and is committed to meeting the confirmed release date i.e. on “6th DEC 2024”.
Fans have expressed their excitement under the post, with comments such as “Now come and shout whoever said the film has been postponed”, “Thanks Pushpa 2 team for the information, can’t wait for Pushpa 2” and also, commented an iconic dialogue of the film, “Assalu Thaggedheleyyy”.
