This is some super exciting news for Rajinikanth fans! After 30 years Prakash Raj and Rajinikanth will be seen sharing screen space together. It is recently confirmed that Thalaivar 168 will also feature sensational actor Prakash Raj in one of the key roles. Sun Pictures who are producing Thalaivar 168 announced the news on Monday. Whereas makers of the film also made it official that Keerthy Suresh will be seen playing the role of Rajinikanth’s daughter in the film. Helmed by Siruthai Siva, the music will be given by D Imman.
Talking about Prakash Raj, he and Rajinikanth shared screen space in only one movie so far, the 1999 film Padayappa. Prakash Raj was seen in a cameo role and appeared for a while towards the climax. Prakash has over 10 movies this year, while a few are yet waiting to be released including the Telugu film Ruler. Sun Pictures initially announced that actor Soori has joined the cast of Thalaivar 168 and they also tweeted a video of Soori making the announcement official.
The makers of Thalaivar 168 are keeping their audience updating with regular announcements about the cast and crew. The filming of the movie will go on floors in the third week of December and the film is said to hit theatres by Diwali 2020. A few days back, news of Meena and Khushbu Sundar joining the cast as the female leads made headlines, but however there is no official announcement about the same.
