The screening of Marathi movie “Prawaas” took place last night. The screening of the movie marked the presence of many big names of the town. Asha Bhosale, Juhi Chawla, Arunoday Singh, Shraddha Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Bhagyashree, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Mahesh Khotare and many more lightened up the evening by their presence.
Talking about the movie “Prawaas”, the plot of the movie revolves around two elderly couples, Abhijat Inamdar (Ashok Saraf) and Lata Inamdar (Padmini Kolhapure). The movie underlines the statement that everyone has a certain time to live in this world and one should understand how one lives one’s life. The lead face Abhijit Inmadar lives by the quote that in a person’s life only to two days matter, the day they are born and the day they understand their purpose for existence. The man teaches everyone around to live life to its fullest, especially his wife Lata Inamdar.
The word “Prawaas” itself means journey and the film is going to showcase the whole ride of a man from childhood to old age. The movie’s plot is subtle but will surely be portrayed in the most amazing way owing to the brilliant acting skills of the two leads- Ashok Saraf and Padmini Kolhapure.
Alongside Ashok Saraf and Padmini Kolhapure, the film will also feature Vikram Gokhale, Rajit Kapur, and Shreyas Talpade will also be playing some pivotal roles. The director himself will also play a small role in the film. The music of the film is composed by music duo Salim-Sulaiman.
Directed by Shashank Udapurkar, the family drama will release on 14th February 2020.
