BREAKUP! Sai Tamhankar And Anish Joag Ends Long-Term Relationship

Sai Tamhankar part ways with longtime partner Anish Joag, sharing a heartfelt message on mutual respect and healing.

Sai Tamhankar, a well-known actress in Marathi and Bollywood cinema, recently confirmed that she and her long-term partner, producer Anish Joag, have decided to part ways. Tamhankar has always been open about her personal life and her relationship with Joag was no exception. After dating for many years, Tamhankar revealed to Hindustan Times that their decision to split was mutual and filled with respect.

She shared, “Yes, we have headed our separate ways and it was a mutual decision. it was tough but it happened and it is what it is. He is a very special person in my life and will always be and I will wish well for him and I know that the other party also feels the same way.”

Rumours about their separation began circulating weeks ago when Tamhankar posted a cryptic message on social media, saying, “I’m single by choice. Not my choice. But it’s still a choice.” Fans speculated that this post hinted at a breakup. Soon after, she removed all her photos with Joag from her social media which further fueled the speculation. However, Joag’s account still holds memories of their time together, including holiday moments and affectionate birthday posts.

Before dating Anish Joag, Sai Tamhankar was married to visual effects artist Amey Gosavi. The two had tied the knot in 2013 but they went their separate ways in 2015.

Following her divorce, Tamhankar began dating Joag, who went on to produce several movies featuring her, including YZ (2016), Girlfriend (2019), and Dhurala (2020). Together, they shared a deep professional and personal connection but despite their compatibility, Sai Tamhankar and Anish Joag decided it was time to move forward individually.

On the professional front, Sai Tamhankar was recently seen in SonyLIV original series titled ‘Manvat Murders’ and now she’s currently working with Emraan Hashmi for the film titled ‘Ground Zero’. The movie based on 2001 parliament attack is now under post-production work.
