Exclusive: Amruta Khanvilkar Didn’t Drink Water For 3 Days During Chandra Song Shoot

In an exclusive interview with Lehren, the ‘Chandramukhi’ actress Amruta Khanvilkar shared her experience during the shoot for her film ‘Chandramukhi’. The actress revealed that she didn’t drink plenty of water for 3 days.

Chandramukhi actress Amruta Khanvilkar recently opened up about her experience during her shooting for the film Chandramukhi. When asked about her favorite and most memorable experience from the film, the actress revealed her most difficult yet memorable memory from the film as she said, ” The Chandra song which has been trending now has been the most memorable, as it took me 3 hours to wear the saree that I wore in the song, so for it, I didn’t drink water the whole day because I couldn’t use the washroom after wearing the saree, and the song shoot went on for 3 days and through the days I only drank half a glass of water. Moreover I wasn’t even eating anything, so I think that was very struggling for me and the song was a very high energy song, so I think that would be my most memorable part from the film”.

The actress shared her love for sarees as she told that she wore saree throughout the promotions of her film. She also mentioned the recent promotions of her film with spice jet as she said, “That she has never done any promotion like such but it happened and it was really something, I never saw my 35 ft cutout, it was the first time to see a Marathi actress on Filmfare cover page and I think for all of this my producer Akshay Bardapurkar, as all of this was his vision”.

The latest Marathi film ‘Chandramukhi’ stars Amruta Khanvilkar in the titular role, whereas Addinath Kothare, Mrunmayee Deshpande, Mohan Agashe, Samir Choughule, and others in pivotal roles. Well, Chandramukhi has been grabbing everyone’s attention with the chemistry between Amruta and Addinath, Ajay-Atul’s music and dialogues.
