The Malayalam action thriller Marco has hit a troubling roadblock as its Hindi-dubbed version was reportedly leaked online in full HD, sparking serious concerns about piracy. While Kerala’s cyber cell has been vigilant in fighting piracy, this leak raises questions about how such high-quality versions find their way onto torrent platforms like TamilBlasters and 1TamilMV.
The Hindi version of Marco, starring Unni Mukundan has been gaining traction outside Kerala, performing exceptionally well in multiplexes and even replacing underperforming movies like Varun Dhawan’s Baby John. However, the leak threatens to undermine the movie’s growing popularity in North India. Alongside the Hindi version, the original Malayalam theatrical print has also surfaced online, further compounding the issue.
What makes this leak particularly concerning is the availability of the Hindi version in HD and Ultra HD formats, suggesting the possibility of a significant security lapse. It’s unclear how these high-quality prints were obtained but their circulation on piracy platforms jeopardizes the hard work of filmmakers and actors alike.

Marco, directed by Haneef Adeni and produced by Cubes Entertainments and Unni Mukundan Films, tells the story of a family caught in a web of deceit and revenge. The film explores the journey of Marco and his brother George as they uncover dark truths behind a tragedy that shakes their family.
While the movie has been praised for its performances and compelling storyline, piracy could severely impact its box office earnings, particularly as the year-end spotlight shines on Malayalam cinema. Authorities in Kerala are continuing their efforts to combat piracy but incidents like this show how much remains to be done.
Unni Mukundan’s movie will also soon be available on an OTT platform after its theatrical run. Make sure to experience the spectacle legally and say no to piracy.
