Kannada star Darshan is back with yet another mass action entertainer with Kranti after his previous . The trailer introduces Darshan as a titular character who has returned to India to upgrade the state’s education system, but during his mission he faces many hurdles such as corrupt politicians and businessmen. The trailer, which has garnered over 10 million views within a day of it’s release, promises yet another masala action film which will have ample dose of entertainment.
Helmed by V Harikrishna, the film marks the second collaboration between director and actor after Yajamana (2019) which also went onto become a huge hit at the box office, and that has already raised the expectations from the film . The film also stars Rachitha Ram as Darshan’s romantic interest, Dr V Ravichandran and Sumalatha. Darshan’s last film Robertt (2021) also became a huge blockbuster in spite of mixed response from critics.
The film is produced by Shylaja Nag and B. Suresha under their production house ‘Media House Company. Makers had made the first announcement of the film on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami in 2021. The film’s first look was released in February 2022 which also received positive response from the audience.
