Rishab Shetty’s Kantara became a worldwide sensation immediately after its release. The Kannada language film is being highly lauded by everyone. It has attracted attention and has been admired by many popular stars. From Kangana Ranaut to Prabhas to Dhanush the film has gained ample praise. While during a recent media interaction Kantara director and actor Rishab Shetty was seen reacting to the idea of a Hindi remake of his film, here’s what he said-
Rishab Shetty Doesn’t Want A Hindi Remake Of Kantara
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Kantara actor Rishab was asked which Bollywood actor would be able to reprise his role if the film were to be remade in Hindi. To this Rishab said, “I don’t know. I can’t think of anyone because I don’t know how I would explain this to another actor. I am emotionally connected to the Daiva Kola sequence. I can’t even explain how I did it myself because it’s an emotional and spiritual journey. You have to believe in it. We have seen all this since we were kids.”
Opening up about the success of his film Rishab told TOI, “I don’t know. It just happened. Cinema has a certain energy and we have talked about our culture and folklore in the film. So, I guess with God’s blessings the film has been released pan-India,”

The story revolves around “Bhoota” who trades forest land with King in exchange for happiness later King’s son grows up to become a greedy person and claims back the land. The action-adventure film stars Rishab Shetty, Sapthami Gowda, Kishore Kumar G, Achyuth Kumar, and Pramod Shetty in key roles.
