Films are making their way to OTT right a few weeks after their theatrical release. Rakshit Shetty’s 777 Charlie released on June 10 is still on the big screens. It’s been a month still the movie has not been dropped from cinema halls. Yet ‘777 Charlie’ has got a date for its OTT release.
For those who were waiting to watch the movie online, this is a piece of good news for you. 777 Charlie starring Rakshit Shetty and helmed by debutant director Kiranraj K will premier on OTT on 29th July. Voot has bought rights to stream the movie online.
The drama adventure movie materialized as a triumph at the box office. The story of a dog and a man will be streamed online on Voot from July 29th, 2022. The lead of the movie is a labrador dog named Charlie alongside, actors Rakshit Shetty, Sangeetha Sringeri, Raj B Shetty, Danish Sait, and Bobby Simha. Produced by Paramvah Studios the film is written and directed by Kiranraj K.
777 Charlie made at a budget of 20 crores is still ruling the theaters. In Karnataka, the movie has completed 25 days in more than 100 theatres. Not only that in many parts of India the movie is still screened in many cinemas. The Kirik Party star is hoping for his latest release to at least complete 50 days.
Recently, a press conference was held to celebrate the success of 777 Charlie. At the event, the lead actor Rakshit Shetty revealed the makers would roughly earn Rs 100 crore as a total collection. He also confirmed that 5 percent of the profit that belongs to dog Charlie will be donated to NGOs working for the welfare of rescue dogs across the country.
