Finally the wait of the fans of ‘Rocky Bhai’ is over and the OTT release date of KGF Chapter 2 is out. The highly anticipated movie of the year is now set for its OTT release. Amazon Prime Video has bought all the rights to stream chapter 2 of KGF from June 3. The film has minted ample money since the day it was released in theatres, and now it is ready to premiere on Amazon for all Prime members.
KGF 2 is a sequel to Rocking star Yash’s KGF 1 which was released in 2018. After chapter 1 took over audiences pan India, the second installment roped in Bollywood stars, Ajay Devgan and Raveena Tandon. The cast of KGF 2 is also joined by Prakash Raj while Srinidhi Shetty is seen in both parts.

Koral Gold Fields or KGF 2 has been rented to Amazon Prime Video. The movie will be premiered online on June 3. Amazon Prime Video has announced the news by sharing a clip of the film on Twitter. The tweet read: “Join Rocky on his journey to rule the world!! #KGF2onPrime, streaming from June 3.” In the video shared on Twitter, popular dialogues of the film are mentioned. At the end of the video, a slide declares that the movie will be streamed in 5 languages.
The multilingual movie was released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi on April 14 in theatres countrywide similarly it will be released online. It was estimated that chapter 2 will be released on Amazon Prime Video because part 1 is already available on the platform, but such an early OTT release is a surprise.
KGF 2 Hindi has already entered the 400 crore club and is earning whopping money worldwide in different languages. According to the tweet of trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, the film had earned Rs 1210.53 crore in the first five weeks. At the same time, in the 6th week, the film collected Rs 19.84 crore, while on the first day of the seventh week the collection of the film was Rs 1.02 crore, on the second day Rs 1.34 crore, on the third day Rs 2.41 crore and on the fourth day Rs 3.06 crore. The total worldwide collection of the film KGF 2 has gone up to Rs 1238.20 crore.
