Reports suggest that Kannada actor Darshan, who is currently detained in connection with the Renukaswamy murder case alongside Pavithra Gowda and others, may be temporarily released from jail. This release is anticipated to enable him to attend an event for Upendra’s much-anticipated film, UI.

Reports indicate that the multilingual film, initially set to release on September 18 to align with Upendra’s birthday, has been delayed due to unfinished post-production and ongoing promotional activities. There are also rumors that Upendra is organizing a significant promotional event for the film, which might see Darshan making a special guest appearance.

However, despite the ongoing speculation and rumors, no official court order has been issued granting Darshan temporary release from custody. The actor remains incarcerated in Ballari prison along with 16 others involved in the Renukaswamy murder case.

This occurred as he was being escorted from his jail cell to a meeting with his wife, Vijayalakshmi, and his brother, Dinakar. Darshan was initially kept at Parappana Agrahara Central Jail but was later transferred to Ballari prison.
