The Smash Hit ‘Master Chef India- Tamil’ Is Back With Season 2

Season 2 of the hit T.V show 'Master Chef Tamil' is back with Vijay Sethupathi hosting the show again. The show will premiere next year on T.V sets.

After making an impression across the globe with its maiden season, “MasterChef Tamil” is all set for the renewal of yet another new season. Innovative Film Academy and Endemol shine, the producers of the show today announced the call for auditions for MasterChef Tamil season 2, starting November 18th with Butterfly as title sponsors.

Commenting on the occasion, Saravana Prasad, founder of Innovative Film Academy said, “We are elated to be announcing the second season of “MasterChef Tamil”. With the first season becoming an instant hit amongst Tamil diaspora across the globe, I am confident that the second season will definitely create a benchmark, redefining the culinary space better than before. Hosted by Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, along with judges Chef Harish Rao, Chef Koushik Shankar, and Chef Aarthi Sampath, the first season of Masterchef Tamil gained huge popularity for bringing in International cuisines with a South Indian twist. Devaki Vijayaraman, a 28-year-old home-baker from Trichy lifted the prestigious season trophy recently on November 14th, defeating three other contestants. She was also presented with the celebrated golden chef’s coat along with a cheque of ₹25 Lakhs.

With Devaki becoming an inspiration to millions, “MasterChef Tamil” is proffering a chance for people to tread on the same path.
