South’s Megastar Chiranjeevi will be seen in the upcoming film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, is the biggest and the most anticipated films of the year. The film is produced by none other than his own son Ram Charan and will hit theatres by October 2nd. The film will also feature Amitabh Bachchan. Chiranjeevi in the film will fulfil his wish of portraying the character of a freedom fighter, and there is a massive hype among the moviegoers.

Chiranjeevi at one of his interviews while promoting his upcoming film revealed that he delayed Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy by a decade due to his political career. In Chennai, while he attended an event he also admitted about how he was a bit jealous of his son Ram Charan, as he was seen playing the role of a warrior in Magadheera. He said, “I was a bit jealous on seeing Ram Charan playing a warrior in Magadheera. I even told him that. He took that so seriously and launched Sye Raa under his own production to make me happy.”
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a film based on the freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy and is a period drama film. Chiranjeevi who always dreamed to play Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy for last 12 years in now getting it fulfilled. The film also stars Nayanthara, Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Anushka Shetty among others. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which will release tomorrow will also clash with Bollywood film WAR starring Tiger Shroff and Hrithik Roshan.
