Goo Hara was found dead at her home in Cheongdam neighbourhood of Seoul on November 24. After investigating her passing the police has finally made a statement regarding the investigation. Commissioner Lee Yong Pyo of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said, “There was a hand-written note found on a table in her living room.” While another police source stated, “There is nothing we can reveal about the contents of the note.”

The commissioner further stated, “Yesterday (November 24), around 6 p.m., Goo Hara’s housekeeper discovered her. Based on on-site inspection and testimony from her family, there are no suspicions of a crime.” Further talking about carrying out an autopsy the commissioner revealed that it would be decided after consulting with the prosecution, while also considering her family’s opinion and the results of the on-site inspection. But they haven’t decided on anything as of yet.

The commissioner also further revealed that after considering the analysis of CCTV footage, they concluded that Goo Hara returned home on November 24 at approximately 12:35 a.m and hence it is presumed that she passed away after that time. IT is also confirmed that no one else visited Goo Hara’s home after she got home. However, her housekeeper discovered her body at 6 p.m. THe commissioner also further revealed that the housekeeper had maintained a close relationship with Goo Hara for a long time. She came to her house as she had attempted to contact Goo Hara but received no response.

Our condolences to Goo Hara’s family and friends.
