Canadian PM Justin Trudeau’s wife Sophie recovers from COVID-19 but Justin will remain in isolation. Read below.

Sophie Trudeau wife of Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this month. Meanwhile, Sophie shared the news of her recovery on social media and said that she is feeling much better. On the other hand, post Sophie’s recovery Justin will still remain in isolation.

In a public announcement, Justin said that he will continue to self-isolate. He said, “I have to continue in isolation in order to be sure that we’re following all the protocols and the recommendations by Health Canada.”

Post her recovery Sophie shared that she is grateful for the people who reached out to her with best wishes. In a Facebook post, she wrote, “I am feeling so much better and have received the all-clear from my physician and Ottawa Public Health. From the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you to everyone who reached out to me with their good wishes. And to everyone who is suffering right now, I send you all my love.”

According to the latest reports from John Hopkins University, 6,243 Canadians have been tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

The news state that Prince Harry and Megan Markle were also staying in Canada when Sophie was diagnosed positive for the life-threatening disease. Harry and Megan were worried about their friend. Later the couple moved to the USA along with their 10-month old son Archie.

Reacting to their move, US President Donald Trump tweeted and declared that the US will not pay for their security. Then a source close to the newly exited Royal couple said that Harry and Megan have no plans of asking for security from the US government as they have arranged it for themselves.
