PUBG Banned: Know Details About Alternative Game FAU-G

After a ban on Chinese gaming app PUBG, Akshay Kumar has announced an alternative game FAU-G. Here's everything you need to know.

The fans of PUBG were a little disappointed when the Indian government imposed a ban on the popular gaming app. However, a made in India alternative of the game is on its way. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar made the big announcement on his social media. The game is named FAU-G. It is a clear indication that the game is an ode to the Indian Army. Moreover, 20% of the net revenue generated will be donated to Bharat Ke Veer Trust.

FAU-G stands for Fearless And United – Guards. Akshay Kumar also told, “Besides entertainment, players will also learn about the sacrifices of our soldiers.”

According to the reports, the game is likely to be launched by the end of October and will be based on real-life conflicts encountered by the Indian security forces. The first level of the game is set in the Galwan area of eastern Ladakh where Indian and Chinese soldiers engaged in a violent clash in June this year and 20 of our brave men laid down their lives.

This game is a step forward in PM Modi’s Atma Nirbhan mission. 

Earlier this week, the Indian government announced a ban on 118 Chinese apps, including PUBG.
