Xiaomi to launch a new smartphone with 108-megapixel camera for $400 smartphone

Xiaomi unveils $400 smartphone unveiled an unprecedented 108-megapixel camera, which will be available for purchase in China tomorrow and maybe released globally.

Xiaomi Mi Note 10 made its official debut in China on Tuesday. The new device that was unveiled features an unprecedented 108-megapixel camera, and boast of the highest resolution cameras that are available to consumers. The Mi Note 10 is said to be the global variant of Mi CC9 Pro.

The 108-megapixel wide-angle camera has more resolution compared to the Fujifilm's 102-megapixel GFX 100 medium. The four other rear cameras of CC9 Pro include a 5-megapixel 5x telephoto, 12-megapixel 2x telephoto, 20-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera with big 1.75um pixels. The 108-megapixel camera which is a little more than an inch in size was made in partnership with Samsung, which slightly smaller in comparison to other high-end sensors on the market. This will also ensure great pictures taken in low light and will use a software to combine multiple shots, to help lessen the blurriness and grittiness.

Apart from the camera, the CC9 Pro also stands out for its gigantic 5,260 mAh battery, thus giving an impression of its impressive endurance. The other features consist of edge-to-edge 6.47-inch curved FHD+ AMOLED display and Snapdragon 730G mobile platform. It will also feature a 32-megapixel selfie shooter and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The device runs on Xiaomi’s MIUI 11, which is a skin built over Android 9, and will also feature a 3.4mm headphone jack.
