Shane Warne Death: Sachin Tendulkar Writes An Emotional Tweet

Sachin Tendulkar has shared a picture with late cricketer Shane Warne along with an emotional note on his death.

Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is mourning the sudden demise of Australian cricketer Shane Warne. On Friday evening, Shane Warne’s management shared the shocking news of Shane Warne’s death at the age of 52.

Master blaster shared a picture with the late cricketer and penned an emotional tweet that reads, “Shocked, stunned & miserable… Will miss you Warnie. There was never a dull moment with you around, on or off the field. Will always treasure our on field duels & off field banter. You always had a special place for India & Indians had a special place for you. Gone too young!”

Virender Sehwag also took to Twitter to express his shock and grief. He tweeted, “Cannot believe it. One of the greatest spinners, the man who made spin cool, superstar Shane Warne is no more. Life is very fragile, but this is very difficult to fathom. My heartfelt condolences to his family, friends and fans all around the world.”

The entire world is grieving Shane Warne’s demise. Brian Lara wrote on social media, “Heartbroken And speechless at the moment. I literally don’t know how to sum up this situation. My friend is gone!! We have lost one of the Greatest Sportsmen of all time!! My condolences goes out to his family. RIP Warnie!! You will be missed.”

Ricky Ponting wrote, “Devastated, we have lost a legend. Rod Marsh was a great player, a great coach and one of the best people I have ever met. My thoughts are with Ros, Paul, Dan and Jamie.”

The statement released by Shane Warne’s management on Friday evening, reads, “Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived.”
