Pacer Jaydev Unadkat announced his engagement on Sunday, two days after leading Saurashtra to a maiden Ranji Trophy win. Porbandar’s 28-year-old posted on his social media accounts a photo of his fiancée Rinny and himself, revealing the news.
He shared a picture on Instagram with his fiancée and wrote, “6 hours, 2 meals & 1 shared mud cake later (sic).”
To which team India player and Unadkat’s teammate from Saurashtra team Cheteshwar Pujara commented, “Welcome to the family Rinny. I am so glad that my brother @JUnadkat has found the love of his life. P:S – You have to deal with a lot of bromance.”
Apart from Pujara many other cricketers also flooded the comment section of the adorable picture with best wishes and congratulations. Punjab pacer Siddharth Kaul, all-rounder Mandeep Singh and Vidarbha all-rounder Faiz Fazal were amongst cricketers who congratulated Unadkat for the new start.
In the recently held Ranji Trophy, Jaydev Unadkat had a splendid season. The cricketer grabbed 67 wickets at a 13.23 economy rate. The fabulous season also included match-winning spells on the last day of both the semi-final and the final respectively.
Talking about IPL 2020, Jaydev Unadkat will be playing from the Rajasthan Royals franchise this year. And we hope that the pacer spills his on-going form in the IPL tournament as well.
