In the midst of the nationwide lockdown, the cricketers are finding unique ways to interact with their fans and followers. They either conduct interactive Live session on their social media handles with other cricketer or accept a quarantine challenge and nominate them to do the same.
Meanwhile, former India batsman Yuvraj Singh took on his social media to nominate Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh and Rohit Sharma for the ‘keep it up’ challenge. Yuvi tweeted, “In these challenging times, I am committed to staying at home to prevent the spread of #Covid19 and will #KeepItUp as long as it is required. I further nominate master blaster @sachin_rt hit man @ImRo45 and turbanator @harbhajan_singh @UN @deespeak.”
In the video shared by Yuvraj, we can see him bouncing the ball on his bat as he nominates his cricketing buddies to accept the challenge. Yuvraj poked in some fun in the video by saying that this challenge is for batsmen hence, Sachin and Rohit will do it easily but it will not be easy for Harbhajan Singh.
Rohit Sharma and Yuvraj Singh recently caught up on an Instagram Live session where they talked about the on-going pandemic and reflected on their respective careers.
During the interaction, Hitman confessed that Yuvraj was his cricket crush when he walked into the Indian dressing room. Rohit said, “When I came into the team, my cricket crush was Yuvraj Singh. I always wanted to talk to Yuvraj Singh, I always wanted to see how he prepares and what he does.”
For the unversed, nor have Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh and Rohit Sharma played for team India but they have also played for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
