Riyan Parag Teaches Bihu Dance Moves To Rajasthan Teammate Rahul Tewatia; Watch

On Sunday, Rajasthan registered a 5-wicket victory over the Hyderabad-based franchise in the on-going IPL 2020. The match was wrapped by an 18-year old Assam cricketer Riyan Parag with a smashing hit. In the game at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad put up a target of 159 runs for Rajasthan to chase. The Rajasthan team did lose early wickets but it was the partnership between Rahul Tewatia and Riyan Parag that saved their day. The duo helped Rajasthan register a win by building an 85-run partnership. After the amazing win, Riyan Parag taught Bihu dance to teammate Rahul Tewatia.

The funny video shared by the official social media handle of Rajasthan is making rounds on the internet. In the video, Parag explains that he was motivated to do the dance due to the net bowlers. These bowlers were also present in the stadium. Riyan also said that some of these bowlers were from Assam.

The 18-year old also performed the dance during last season too. During the outing with Hyderabad, Parag scored an unbeaten knock of 42 runs off 26 balls. The inning consisted of two 4s and two 6s.

On the other hand, Tewatia accompanied Parag with an unbeaten knock of 45 runs of 28 deliveries. He smashed four 4s and two 6s.

For the unversed, Bihu is a traditional folk dance from Assam. The dance is usually performed during the Bihu festival.

After yesterday’s match, Rajasthan has climbed to the sixth position on the IPL Points Table. Meanwhile, Hyderabad is fifth on the table.

Up next, Rajasthan will face Delhi on October 14, while Hyderabad lock horns with Chennai on October 13.
