India skipper Virat Kohli and Australia’s fiery batsman Steve Smith are considered arch-rivals of each other in the cricketing world. Cricket buffs often find themselves on who is better than who and the discussion never ends. Despite the world pitting them against each other, the two cricket superstars seem to have tremendous mutual respect. Virat Kohli has even spoken about his admiration for Steve Smith, even gesturing to fans during a match not to boo Smith after the Australian had come back from his suspension, while Smith himself has spoken highly about Kohli on various occasions.

On Sunday, Steve Smith conducted and Q&A session for his fans. His fans quizzed him with several questions and surely Virat Kohli was one of the topics. One of Smith’s fans asked him to describe Kohli in one word. And Smith’s choice of word was “Freak”.

Steve Smith had a Q&A session on Instagram with fans, and he answered about different topics. Not surprisingly many fans asked Smith questions related to current Indian stars. 

Among many other questions that Smith chose to answer, one was about former India skipper MS Dhoni. A fan asked Smith about his opinion on MS Dhoni and the Aussie batsman replied, “Legend! Mr. Cool”.

Smith also got asked to name a cricketer that had impressed him the most, to which he replied, “KL Rahul. Very good player!” The answer doesn’t come as a surprise because KL Rahul has surely impressed everyone by batting as well as wicket-keeping skills.

Smith had to stay away from international cricket for 9 months after found guilty of ball-tampering in 2018. The incident is known as Sandpaper Gate.
