IPL 2020: BCCI & Franchises To Decide The Fate Of IPL’s 13th Season

The BCCI decided on March 13 to suspend the Indian Premier League to 15th April as a precautionary measure in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak. Read below to know more.

The Board Of Cricket Control In India (BCCI) has said that they will have a conference call with the management of each franchise on Tuesday to discuss the prospects of IPL 2020.

Confirming the same a BCCI Official said, “BCCI and IPL franchise to have a conference call on coming Tuesday to discuss the process and further way of IPL 2020.

On 13th March, BCCI announced the suspension of IPL’s 13th edition to 15th April as a precautionary measures to combat the spread of novel coronavirus.

The BCCI further asked their employee’s to work from home as the concerns over novel coronavirus have risen in India.

The total numbers of confirmed cases of COVID-19 have reached more than 220, this includes 32 foreigners said the Union Health Ministry on Friday.

As many as 23 people have been cured of the infection in India. Globally speaking the virus has claimed over 10,000 lives.
