Cristiano Ronaldo sends a message to Sarri with his performance at EURO Qualifiers

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick as Portugal brushed aside Lithuania days after his clash with Maurizio Sarri at Juventus. Fans thin he was sending a message to the Juventus boss with his scintillating performance.

Cristiano Ronaldo who seemed to be beyond pissed with his recent Juventus woes, took home a hat-trick as Portugal clashed against Lithuania at the UEFA EURO Qualifiers. Ronaldo, just days before was seen storming off the field on being substituted early in a match against their rival AC Milan. Ronaldo seemed to have sworn at his coach, Sarri, called him ‘son of a whore‘ before walking off the field down the tunnel and into the changing room.

With all that stress, Ronaldo seems to be clapping back with the only way he knows. He was seen sharing a long hug with his Portugal manager Fernando Santos, who came out in support of him in the wake of recent events. And though Sarri recently claimed that he pulled out Ronaldo from Juve duty because of injury concerns, Santos in an interview said, “He’s fine. I had no doubt about that, as I said before the match. Other people did, but I didn’t have any doubts.”

And as soon as the match was over, even Ronaldo’s sister Katia Aveiro shared a cryptic post on her social media. It seems like she wanted to make clear that her brother is the main man for both club and country while taking a jab at those who believed Ronaldo is past his best. She shared a picture of the footballer and wrote, “Don’t mess with dad’s job. And he’s finished! Imagine if he wasn’t. Sisters pride! Now think!”
