Australian cricketer Shane Warne’s death has left Brian Lara heartbroken. He has expressed his grief on Twitter while sharing an old picture in his memory. Brian wrote in his tweet, “Heartbroken And speechless at the moment. I literally don’t know how to sum up this situation. My friend is gone!! We have lost one of the Greatest Sportsmen of all time!! My condolences goes out to his family. RIP Warnie!! You will be missed.”
Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar wrote, “Shocked, stunned & miserable… Will miss you Warnie. There was never a dull moment with you around, on or off the field. Will always treasure our on field duels & off field banter. You always had a special place for India & Indians had a special place for you. Gone too young!”
Brian Lara, Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne were great friends off the field. Even after they retired from International cricket, they continued sharing a good bond. Last year, Shane shared a picture of the awesome trio and wrote, “Great battles on the field and great friends of the field.”
Shane Warne passed away at the age of 52. His death is suspected due to a heart attack.
