Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has many laurels for the country during his 17-year long international career, with playing a major role in winning the 2007 ICC T20 World Cup, and the 2011 ICC 50-over World Cup. Yuvraj was even bestowed with the ‘Player of the Tournament’ award in the 2011 World Cup.

Post an astonishing career, Yuvraj Singh bid goodbye to his cricketing career last year without much funfare. However, now a year later the former all-rounder has lashed out at the Board for Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for being ‘very unprofessional’ in managing him towards the last days of his career.

Yuvraj Singh also mentioned that he wasn’t surprised by this behaviour from BCCI as he had seen other players like Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, and Zaheer Khan being ‘badly mismanaged’ and that all of it was a part of Indian cricket.

In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda, Yuvraj Singh said, "I just felt that the way they managed me towards the end of my career was very unprofessional. But looking back at a couple of great players like Harbhajan, Sehwag, Zaheer Khan, also very badly mismanaged. So it is part of Indian cricket, I had seen it in the past and I was not really surprised.”

Yuvraj hasn't played much Test cricket despite having a fairly successful white-ball career and he feels that's what turns a good player into a legendary player.
