The God of cricket has an amazing record at the SCG as he went on to score 785 runs in five Test matches at the ground.

In the year 2004, Sachin Tendulkar went on to score an individual score of 241 not out against Australia. This knock of Sachin is often regarded as the greatest.

In the 2003-04 Test series against Australia, Sachin Tendulkar registered his first double hundred in the longest format of the game.

Talking about the Bushfire League, the former Australian skipper has urged the fans to donate generously to support Australians affected by a dangerous summer of bushfire.

India’s iconic batsman Yuvraj Singh, who played 40 Test and 304 ODI in an international career that spanned 17 years, will be the part of Gilchrist’s XI.

In the Bushfire League, Ponting’s XI will be playing against Gilchrist’s XI.

The Bushfire League was previously slated to be played on Saturday in Sydney but weather forecast prompted Cricket Australia to postpone the game.

The charity match will now be played on Sunday, February 9, at Junction Oval in Melbourne.
