India and Australia will step into the ring in Sunday's all-important Women's T20 World Cup final. American pop star Katy Perry visited the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) ahead of the final, where she will perform live before and after the two sides clash at the summit.

During her interaction with the Indian women's cricket team, Katy Perry was interested to know about the Indian team composition that will take on the field tomorrow.

Although Veda Krishnamurthy said the rules don't allow them to reveal the XI playing before the toss, it was the response of Jemimah Rodrigues that left everyone in splits. In response to the question from Katy Perry, Jemimah Rodrigues asked the singer to call her and she'll disclose the playing XI.

Jemimah said, You can call me tomorrow, I can tell you.”

The official Twitter account of the T20 World Cup shared Perry's video engaging with the Indian team on Saturday.

The video was captioned, Not even @katyperry is allowed to know the India team for tomorrow.”

When Australia beat South Africa in Sydney's second semi-final, the World Cup winners reached their sixth consecutive finale in the history of the competition. Since 2010 Australia has been part of every Women's T20 World Cup final.

India, who entered their maiden T20 World Cup final on Thursday, reached the finals after their semi-final game against England was called off without a ball being bowled in Sydney because of rain.

The Indian side has so far lost no single game in the tournament.

When Australia faced India during the group stages match, Harmanpreet Kaur comfortably led the India side to victory by 17 runs.
