Cristiano Ronaldo has finally cleared the air of a rift between himself and Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri as he now agrees with the coaches decision to substitute him in two games back-to-back. Ronaldo seemed to be taken back when Sarri replaced him during Juventus's win over Lokomotiv Moscow 2-1 in the Champions League, and the same occurred again in the match against Milan.

Ronaldo looked furious and even referred to Sarri as a 'son of whore' before leaving the ground in the 55th minute in the match against Milan. Even Sarri opened up about his decisions and revealed that he called Ronaldo back on both occasions due to his persistent knee injury.

Ronaldo in his interview said, "In the last three weeks I have been limited. Everyone knows that I don't like to be substituted, but there was no problem in my gestures after the change. I tried to help Juventus by playing injured. No one likes to be replaced, but I understand it because I wasn't well in those two games. I wasn't 100 per cent."

Ronaldo was seen scoring a hat-trick for his country which helped them qualify for Euro 2020, as they also grabbed the second goal in a 2-0 win over Luxembourg, thus securing a spot in next year's finals. This also helped him reach 99 international goals, just one short of a landmark century.
