Coronavirus hasn’t spared anyone, from top Hollywood stars to presidents, and this time Charles Philip Arthur George, The Prince of Wales has been tested positive for the deadly virus. According to the royal family’s spokesperson, the 71 years old, has been displaying mild symptoms, ‘otherwise remains in good health and has been working from home throughout the last few days as usual.’

However, even though he has tested positive he isn’t infected with the virus yet. In agreement with the government and medical advice, the Prince and the Duchess are now self-isolating at their Scotland home.

The spokesperson further stated that “It is not possible to ascertain from whom the Prince caught the virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks.”

Reportedly, Prince Charles met with Prince Albert of Monaco, who tested positive for the virus earlier this month. Ever since the outbreak happened the Prince was spotted attending several events in which he avoided shaking hands with anyone instead used the ‘Namaste’ gesture.

The family members are currently self-isolating themselves. Queen Elizabeth II saw her son Charles on March 12 and after the news, the Queen and husband Prince Phillip released a statement urging Britain to come together during the crisis situation.
