Gangster Vikas Dubey has been killed in an ‘alleged’ encounter today. As per the records, the vehicle carrying the criminal had overturned on the Kanpur highway. Dubey snatched the pistol of personnel and tried to flee but was surrounded by the police team and he was injured in an exchange of fire. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead. However, people are not ready to buy this story. The social media is filled with tweets calling it a ‘Fake Encounter’. Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati has demanded a Supreme Court-monitored probe into the case. Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi raised the question, “The criminal has gone, but what about the crime and those protecting him." Former DGP, Kerala, N.C. Asthana is not ready to believe the story and wrote on Twitter: "Vikas Dubey killed? Really? The same stupid story, which they had for his aide Mishra. Tried to snatch weapon and run away! The only difference in the script this time--the car overturned! Who in the world would believe in such an improbable story? That confirms--COVER-UP COMPLETE NOW!"
