Sidhu Moose Wala Funeral: Body Brought Home, Cremation To Take Place Today

Singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead near his home in Moosa on Sunday by assailants. Now the Punjabi singer Sidhu’s dead body has been bought home after the hospital handed over the autopsy reports. A large crowd scattered around his house to bid farewell to the singer.

Sidhu Moose Wala Funeral Update: The singer’s body has been handed over to his family on Tuesday, after getting the autopsy reports. His body was brought to his house amidst heavy security arrangements. A huge crowd got scattered outside his ancestral house, while only family members and close friends were allowed to enter. The family members have decided to perform Sidhu’s last rites at their ancestral land in Mansa district. While throughout the place the supporters kept shouting slogans against the AAP government.

Sidhu’s supporters are demanding the dismissal of the CM Bhagwant Mann while addressing the issue of why his security got trimmed on his arrival. However, the Chief Minister has ordered a probe into the investigation and to review the security curtail of the singer.

The cremation of the singer is expected to take place at 12 PM today. Meanwhile, the gangster who killed the singer, Lawrence Bishnoi has approached the Delhi court in a bid to stop the Punjab Police from taking him with them. In his petition to Delhi’s Patiala House Court, Lawrence Bishnoi said he should not be handed over to the Punjab Police because he fears he would be killed in an “encounter”.

According to the autopsy reports, the singer was shot 30 times while 25 bullets were found in his body. The singer’s right elbow has been broken due to bullet injuries. He sustained maximum bullets on his chest and abdomen while two bullets on his right leg, officials said.
