Former finance minister Arun Jaitley was admitted to AIIMS hospital in Delhi on August 9, 2019, after he complained of breathlessness and restlessness. Well, several prominent leaders are now visiting him as his condition is getting worsened.
Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, and Union ministers Smriti Irani and Ram Vilas Paswan visited him recently. Himachal Pradesh governor Kalraj Mishra, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) joint general secretary Dr. Krishna Gopal and former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh also visited Jaitley.
While the hospital has not issued any bulletin about his health, Health Minister Harsh Vardhan had said on Friday, “The team of doctors looking after Arun Jaitley is doing the best they can. He is under round-the-clock observation, and as of now, there is no major change in his health condition.”
President Ram Nath Kovind, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath had also visited AIIMS on Friday to check on the leader’s health.
Arun Jaitley did not contest the 2019 Lok Sabha election presumably because of his ill-health as he underwent a renal transplant operation last year.
