Recently there were reports stating Portuguese footballer and Juventus star player Cristiano Ronaldo has given his two luxury hotels to be temporarily converted into emergency hospitals for the treatment of coronavirus patients.
However, when the news reached out to the hotel’s management, in his home island of Madiera, they simply denied the reports and said, “We are a hotel. We are not going to be a hospital. It is a day like everyone else, we are and will remain a hotel. We are being phoned by the press. I wish you a nice day.”
While the staff of Lisbon’s hotel claimed, they are not aware of any plans to transform its use on a temporary basis to treat those infected with the virus.
Hours after the reports, Ronaldo extended his support to his fans and wrote,

Currently, Ronaldo is in self-isolation after Juventus defender Daniele Rugani was tested positive for COVID-19, and not just Ronaldo but also all those who came in contact with Rugani has been kept under isolation.
Reportedly, Portugal has 245 confirmed cases of coronavirus, however, no deaths have been reported yet, but the condition is stressful in Spain, with almost 7500 infected and more than 150 deaths. The Portuguese government has declared a “state of alert” until April 9.
