Covid-19: India Sees Biggest Spike With 3,900 Cases, 195 Deaths in 24 Hours

India witnessed highest single-day spike in the number of cases and fatalities on Tuesday morning, with 3,900 new cases and 195 fatalities in the past 24 hours. The total number of Covid-19 cases in the country climbed to 46433 as per Union Health Ministry said.

With 3,900 new cases of coronavirus infection and 195 deaths, India on Tuesday registered the highest single-day jump in numbers of COVID-19 cases as well as fatalities in the past 24 hours. ”With 3,900 COVID-19 cases and 195 deaths in the last 24 hours, the country has recorded the largest single-day spike till now in both categories,” the Health Ministry said.

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in India has reached 46,433, including 1,568 deaths, according to the figures provided by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

According to the latest update by the ministry, as many as 12,727 patients in the country have been cured and discharged, or have migrated, as of Tuesday. At present, there are 32,138 active cases in the country.
