Coronavirus latest developments: Covid recovery rate reaches all-time high of 51% in India; deaths cross 9,500

The total number of coronavirus patients who have been cured/discharged/migrated in India reached 1,69,798 on Monday, taking the recovery rate to an all-time high of 51%. Meanwhile, the total cases have reached 3,32,424 and the coronavirus death toll has surged to 9,520.

With 11,502 fresh coronavirus infections reported in the last 24 hours, the total number of COVID-19 cases in India has gone up to 3,32,424 on Monday, according to the Union health ministry. 325 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the total fatality count to 9,520. According to the latest update from the Centre, the country has 1,53,106 active cases and 1,69,797 coronavirus patients have been cured/discharged/migrated.

The highest number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in the country are from Maharashtra at 1,07,958, followed by Delhi at 41,182, Tamil Nadu at 44,661 and Gujarat at 23,544.

In Uttar Pradesh, the Covid-19 cases climbed to 13,615, followed by Rajasthan 12,694 and Madhya Pradesh recorded 10, 802.

Meanwhile, 11,087 cases were reported from West Bengal, 7,208 in Haryana, 7,000 in Karnataka, 6,470 in Bihar and 6,163 in Andhra Pradesh.
