Double decker living root bridge! Anyone for whom Double Decker root bridge is synonymous with Meghalaya (like it was for me), is quite unfamiliar with other brilliant offerings from the place. . The bridge is a wonder for sure. Most of us would have seen this (or similar) bridge only on IG or Google. . However, compared to all other places we visited, this bridge turned out to be the least fascinating. We climbed some 2000 stairs to reach the location, and it just popped up! . For other places, waterfalls, caves et al, we got glimpses and teasers before they revealed themselves in full glory! . . . To be fair to the living root bridge, it is a natural wonder, probably found in Meghalaya only. Highly Instagramable. There is a small pond nearby. You may happily dangle your feet in the water, let the fish manicure them while you wait for your fellow trekkers to arrive! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #Travel @top.tags #India #travellersofindiaofficial #_coi #worldtravelbook #IndiaTravelgram #Himalayas #HimGeo #LonelyPlanet #LP #NGTIndia #bambootrekkingpoles #travellingindian #stayonskill #trekmonk #tripotocommunity #hippieinhills #_woi #photographersofindia @yayavar.club #indiatrekingclub #Meghalaya #northeast #Shillong #dawki #caving #davidscotttrail #cherrapunji #nohkalikaifalls #BambooTrek #livingrootbridge

What can be a better place than Kashmir- also known as Heaven on Earth? It is often the first choice of people wanting to explore India's scenic beauty and to beat the summer heat. The temperature usually ranges between 14 to 21 degrees in April. The major attractions are Jammu city, Srinagar, Leh, Gulmarg, Kupwara, Sonmarg, Doda, Pulwama, Pahalgam and many more.
