First Coronavirus Case Registered In India: Precautions You Can Take To Keep Yourself Safe

A student from Kerala becomes the first victim of China’s deadly disease Coronavirus. Here are certain things you can do to keep yourself safe.

Earlier today India reported its first case of deadly coronavirus infection. The Union Health Ministry confirmed that a student who came back to Kerala from China has been tested positive for the infection. The patient is currently kept in isolation in the hospital, reported the Health Ministry.

Now that a case has been registered for novel coronavirus in India, we should take certain precautions to keep ourselves away from getting infected by it.

But before that, there are certain symptoms one should pay attention to. Here are a few:

1.       Running Nose.

2.       Coughing

3.       Sore Throat

4.       Frequent High Fever

These symptoms seem similar to any regular cold but if they last longer than usual then one should get the checkup done.

Here is a list of precautions you can follow to keep yourself safe:

1.       Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water or any hand wash.

2.       Keep your fingers away from your eyes, nose, and mouth.

3.       Avoid contact with people who are suffering from cold.

4.       Drink plenty of fluids.
