Be afraid no more as certain kitchen essentials can be proven very vital in removing the suntan easily without any side effects. Although one will have to wait for a bit before these home remedies start to show their effect but surely the effect will be fruitful.

Check out these home remedies for removing sun tan:

Turmeric & Besan

If you want to exfoliate the dead cells gently out of your skin and remove suntan, this face pack is definitely for you. Combine two spoons of besan with a pinch of turmeric, some milk, and a tablespoon of rose water.

Apply this paste for about 20 minutes on the tanned skin and then wash your face with cold water. You can also massage your face gently by putting some water on the dried facial pack.

Lemon Juice, Cucumber & Rose Water Face Pack

Saturated lemon juice is good for removing tan, but not suitable for everyone. So going for a face kit made with lemon juice is always advisable. That was just that. You’ll need to blend one tablespoon of each ingredient in a bowl for this face pack.

Dab the face pack onto the tanned areas and hold it until dry for 10-15 minutes. Wash it away with cold water. The lemon juice reduces tanning while rose water and cucumber soothe inflammation of the skin.

Honey & Papaya Face Pack

Papaya’s incredible exfoliating and bleaching properties make it a perfect choice for removing suntan. Skin is soothed and moisturized by the honey in this pack. Mash 1/2 cup of papaya together with 1 tablespoon of honey and prepare the pack. Let that pack sit on the tanned areas for half an hour and wash it away with cold water.

Turmeric & Raw Milk

The soothing turmeric and exfoliating properties of milk make this home remedy the best choice for skin tan removal. Add a pinch of the turmeric to two tablespoons of milk. Slather the solution on to the tanned areas and let it dry. Clean it off with plain water. Repeat the cycle every day.
