OTT: Directed by Hansal Mehta, the upcoming Bollywood crime thriller film, “The Buckingham Murders” is all set to hit the theatres on 13 September 2024. Starring Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor the film has been garnering much attention and buzz prior to its theatrical release. Although not confirmed, Kareena Kapoor starrer “The Buckingham Murders” will reportedly stream on the OTT platform, Netflix after its theatrical run. As per several media reports, the makers of the film have sold the digital rights of the crime thriller film to OTT giant, Netflix. However, there’s no official confirmation about the same.

Meanwhile, talking about the OTT release date of the film is yet to be announced. The 8-week theatre window is the standard theatrical-to-digital window that typically spans around 8 weeks. This means the film will most probably be released on the OTT platform by late November or December. However, the OTT release could be postponed further if the film performs well at the box office.

The Buckingham Murders is a crime thriller featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan as Jasmeet Bhamra, a British-Indian detective. The plot follows her as she investigates the murder of a child in Buckinghamshire.

Directed by Hansal Mehta and produced by Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ekta Kapoor, and Shobha Kapoor, The Buckingham Murders marks Kareena’s debut as a producer. The film, produced under Balaji Motion Pictures and Mahana Films, features Kareena in the lead, with Keith Allen and Ranveer Brar in key roles.
