The popular South film star, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, is all set to release her highly anticipated project this year, Shaakuntalam, which is going to hit theatres on Friday, April 14. In the movie, Samantha will play the historical character Shakuntala, which is based on Kavi Kalidasa’s epic drama Abhijnana Shaakuntalam. The makers released the trailer and songs, and it got a good response that the Guna Sekhar-directed film will be a visual treat for Indian filmgoers. On April 6, the Shaakuntalam team unveiled the film’s third trailer at a grand event.
Meanwhile, a video from the trailer event of Samantha is going viral in which she is struggling to walk. As seen in the video, Equality’s eyes are constantly being flashed with a flashlight, and she is having trouble walking.
In the video, Samantha is seen struggling to open her eyes as she enters the venue, as the flashlights from the paparazzi photographers’ cameras hurt her eyes. Meanwhile, someone from her team was seen asking the photographers to turn off the flashlights on their cameras because the actress appeared to be uncomfortable. Even Samantha apologises to them that she is not posing properly as a flashlight, which is disturbing her, and her mannerly behaviour has won our hearts.
The fans and netizens of Oo Antava actress are showing their anger at the paparazzi for their behaviour as she has myositis, so she can not tolerate so much light. One user wrote, “In a recent interview she said that due to her recent condition, she cannot handle extreme lights n flash as it effects her eyes alot.. Have some humanity and dont make fun of someone who inspite of her condition is showing up everyday and trying to have a normal life.. When will Media understand this.” Another fan wrote, “SHAME ON THESE PEOPLE..SHE IS SICK AND SUFFERING CANT HANDLE FLASH LIGHT..” One more user wrote, “hai band karo yaar ankh me problem ho rha hai samantha ke.”
