In a shocking twist, Pandya Store fame actor Akshay Kharodia, who portrayed the character of Dev Pandya, has announced his separation from wife Divya Punetha. The TV star on Saturday, took to his social media to announce the devastating news with a bunch of pictures with Divya.
Akshay took to his instagram to pen a long note addressing the news of separation. The caption read, “With a heavy heart, I want to share a deeply personal update. After much thought and countless emotional conversations, Divya and I have decided to part ways. This has been an incredibly difficult decision for both of us. Divya has been an irreplaceable part of my life, and the love, laughter, and memories we’ve shared will always remain precious to me.…” The couple also have a daughter named Ruhi, whom they gave birth in April 2022. As they part ways as a couple, Akshay mentions in his note that he and wife Divya will continue to co-parent Ruhi the same way.
Akshay Kharodia got married to Divya, his longtime girlfriend in the year June 2021. Just in a span of one year, the two gave birth to an adorable kid whom they named Ruhi. The couple shared immense love between each other and brought a lot of joy to each other’s lives. Comments of the post showed how distressing the news is for fans across the social media. Akshay was much loved for his role as Dev in the Star Plus show Pandya Store. Recently, one of his co-stars Alice Kaushik, who portrayed the character Raavi in the same show entered the Bigg Boss 18 show as a strong contestant.
