MasterChef India is such a show that everyone likes to watch and its audience is also of every generation. The seventh season of the show is currently on and the audience gets the benefit of watching the most delinquent dishes. We have seen the biggest controversies nasty fights and whatnot in Bigg Boss. However, it seems like the cooking reality show has become more like Colors TV’s controversial reality show. While the ‘muh nahi Haath chalao’ line from the show recently the most talked about the affair on the internet. This time it has gained all the attention for judges’ behavior. People feel that the judges of this cooking reality show are biased towards contestants.
Not just Master Chef or Bigg Boss, we have seen this biased behaviour and several controversies in almost every Indian reality show. It is also claimed that most of these reality shows like Bigg Boss, Indian Idol and others are scripted. The same case might be with Master Chef too.
In conclusion, Master Chef might be biased at some points, but it’s still a reality show that people are following and watching. TV actress Hina Khan once said, “If you feel Bigg Boss is biased, stop watching,” and we are going to say the same in this case. The audience is responsible for bringing popularity to any show, and if they feel that the Master Chef judges are unfair, all they can do is stop watching the show. The more they watch it, the more TRP it gets.
Speaking of bias, every story has two sides. It can be possible that the judges are favoring Aruna Vijay in the show and are biased towards other contestants. However, that’s not all! Switching paneer and first because the contestant is vegetarian can be justified. Also, if the judges prefer a plain-looking appam over the cake, it can be simply because they find the taste of the appam better. In simple terms, we cannot judge a book by its cover.
