Destin Daniel Cretton, the man behind Shang-chi, and Legend of Ten Rings, is said to be in talks to direct the next film in the spider man franchise. Reportedly, discussions are marking Daniel as the fourth filmmaker to direct the standalone Spider Man feature.
Actor Tom Holland is all geared up to make his comeback to Spider-Man 4. His return proves the continuing collaboration between Sony and Disney’s Marvel Studio. The previous Holland-led Spider-Man trilogy, directed by Watts, proved to be a massive box office success, with Spider-Man: No Way Home grossing nearly $2 billion globally despite pandemic challenges.
With the increased popularity of Daniel Cretton, it comes out as no surprise that after his association with the innumerable Marvel projects, it is evident that he will have a significant contribution in Spiderman 4. Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers will return as the writers for Spider-Man 4, while Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and former Sony head Amy Pascal will once again serve as producers.
