Recalling a sweet-short conversation with Kailash Kher, Lehren takes you through the days when Kailash Kher was just a failed entrepreneur from Delhi. A 24-year-old unsuccessful businessman who entered Mumbai in his mid-20s, to overcome his depression and begin a new life in the music industry, the hurdles and challenges in the new city bothered him none.
Within 1 year of coming to the ‘City Of Dreams’, Indian singer-composer Kailash Kher got his first break in 2002 with a small ad jingle. As subsequent jingles for multiple TV commercials came to his share, he was then chosen for the song “Allah Ke Bande ” – Kailash Kher’s debut film song. Upheld by Vishal-Shekhar’s composition, this melody in Kher’s voice lives like an immortal memory in millions of hearts until now. Gradually Kher garnered attention from different corners of the industry as certain renowned singers started recognizing him as an Indian singer.

Kher in the interaction expressed how his lonely days in Mumbai with no money and food to survive didn’t break him down. Rather, he stayed persistent. He says that ever since he grew up, he had seen so many painful days in his life, after which the “struggles of Mumbai” as the world calls it, didn’t appear any big to him.
