Bollywood actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda was immediately rushed to a hospital after he was shot by a revolver on his leg. The actor is reported to be accidentally shooting himself on his leg, on Tuesday morning while he was getting ready to fly-off Mumbai. ANI broke out the news of the incident, which stated that the incident took place at be around 4.45 am in the morning today. As the actor was about to take a flight for Kolkata earlier this morning, he accidentally shot himself while checking his own licensed revolver.
Reports from ANI tell that he was immediately rushed to the CritiCARE hospital of Mumbai after the accident occured.He was admitted around 5.15 am for his treatment. More details about the actor is awaited. The actor-politician has sustained injuries as the bullet struck his leg due to a misfire, but a senior police official has reported him to be out of danger. The revolver belonged to Govinda himself and was a legally-licensed one which led to the accident.

Known for his over the top comedy films, Govinda joined Shiv Sena few years ago. Earlier, the actor was a part of Congress party, which he was left back in 2009. Govinda has given many hits in the past like Partner, Kyuki Mai Jhuth Nahi Bolta, Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan and many more.
