Abhishek Bachchan finally has the perfect response to divorce rumors involving his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. For 17 years, the couple has been one of Bollywood’s most admired pairs, inspiring millions with their enduring love and unwavering support for each other. However, recent rumors claiming that Abhishek and Aishwarya are separating have left their fans disheartened. Now, Abhishek Bachchan has finally addressed these false claims during his recent visit to the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.
For months, rumors of Abhishek and Aishwarya living separately have been circulating. The speculation gained traction when Aishwarya Rai made solo appearances at various events. In November of last year, on her 50th birthday, she was seen celebrating with the media, accompanied only by her mother and daughter, with no presence from the Bachchan family. However, these rumors were dispelled when she later attended the screening of their nephew Agastya Nanda’s debut film, The Archies, with Abhishek and the Bachchan family.

Further, recently in July, Aishwarya was seen attending Anant Ambani’s wedding separately on several occasions, accompanied only by her daughter. Meanwhile, Abhishek and the Bachchan family made separate entries. This fueled further speculation that the couple was living apart and that Aishwarya was not on speaking terms with Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, and the rest of the family.
After all this, Abhishek Bachchan finally opened up, stating, “I’m still married!” This declaration put all the rumors to rest. According to the Times of India, Abhishek spoke to Bollywood UK Media and addressed the ongoing rumors by showing off his wedding ring. He said, “I don’t have anything to say to you all about that (the rumors). You have blown the entire thing out of proportion, sadly. I understand why you do it. You have to file some stories. It’s okay, we’re celebrities; we have to take it.”
Abhishek Bachchan is currently in Paris, attending the Olympics to support Indian athletes. He also expressed his pride and love for Neeraj Chopra, who won a silver medal for India in the javelin throw final.
On the professional front, Jr. Bachchan has several big projects in the pipeline, including the film King with Shah Rukh Khan, Shoojit Sircar’s directorial, and Remo D’Souza’s Be Happy. Aishwarya Rai was last seen in the Tamil pan-Indian film Ponniyin Selvan 2.
