With dozens of comic book shows on TV, it seems like the right time to examine which of the medium’s titans of publishing — Marvel or DC — has the upper hand. Here are top reasons why DC shows are better than Marvel shows (Not looking at you, Daredevil).
If we talk about Marvel Vs DC, all that comes to mind are the movies – Avengers, Avengers Infinity War, Civil War, Black Panther, Captain America, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Antman and the Wasp, Spiderman Homecoming, etc. And on the other side, it’s Green coughs Lantern, The Dark Knight Rises, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Man Of Steel, Suicide Squad, Watchmen, Batman Vs Superman, Wonder Woman, (the forgettable) Justice League and now… Aquaman. What we really don’t compare are it’s TV SHOWS. Marvel is winning the movie game for sure but it’s actually DC who scores better than Marvel as far as the Tv world is concerned. With shows like Gotham, Black Lightning, Constantine, Supergirl, Lucifer, The Flash, Green Arrow, Titans, etc. DC has an upper hand over Marvel shows like Runaways, The Inhumans, Cloak and Dagger, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, The Defenders, Iron Fist, except Daredevil and Punisher who have the whole Marvel Tv Universe on their shoulders. And why is that? Because DC has far better VFx, Cinematography, Storylines, Character Origins, Better performances, Character arcs, and many more.
