Roger Federer ( born 8 August 1981) is a Swiss professional tennis player who is currently ranked world No. 1 in men’s singles tennis by the Association of Tennis Professionals(ATP). By clinching 20th Grand Slam title and his 6th Australian Open against Marin Cilic, Tennis legend Rod Laver believes Roger Federer has outstripped him, 16-time Slam champion Rafael Nadal and every other male player in the history! That’s what Roger has achieved in his illustrious career and continues to achieve as a 36 year-old veteran who still gives the youngster’s a run for their money! From being a angry young kid to beating a reigning champion Pete Sampras in Wimbledon, Roger Federer showed the world that is no substitute to hard-work and dedication. Roger started his career by playing against the 90’s champs like Andre Aggassi, Pete Sampras, Stefan Edberg and eventually winning the Australian Open, the US Open, Wimbledon and the French Open. Roger Federer also dominated the new generation of Tennis greats like Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal by beating them in almost all the major Grand Slam finals and cemented his name along with the all-time greats like Bjon Borg and John McEnroe. Roger Federer is also a family man and when he is not touring the world, he prefers to spend most of his time by being with his family. He met his wife Mirka Vavrinec (Miraslova), on the 2000 Olympics tour and both have been inseparable since then. Roger also has two sets of twins Myla and Charlene born on July 23, 2009 and Leo and Lenny born on May 6, 2014.
