Zaan Khan, the popular face of television and soon making a Bollywood debut recently shared some amazing insights with us with his music video Tu Mera, released recently. The actor is known for his roles in Kyun Utthe Dil Chod Aaye, Humari Bhau Silk, and many others. The actor has garnered so many fans around the globe. Zaan gave us the privilege to interview him and shared some beautiful experiences while shooting the music video.
How you were approached by T-series for the music video?
There is this friend of mine Pankaj Batra; he saw my profile and said that he wants to see me. He made me meet Tulsi Kumar and Bhushan Kumar. I met them and that’s how I got the role. There was no audience as such.
Fans really loved your chemistry with Tulsi Kumar and your music video. People have started making you both as a couple; so what is your reaction to it?
I met Tulsi for the first time and the voice she has is as beautiful as she is in person. She is a wonderful soul. I mean she is beautiful in person as well as a grounded person and I will not agree with this couple and all; she is a very good friend of mine and will always be.

We all have heard T-series music since our childhood. What was your experience? Were you nervous while shooting for the music video?
To be honest I was extremely nervous meeting Tulsi Kumar. We all love her songs and we know her as a young icon and cute popstar. When I was about to meet her, I had these feelings what will be her reaction? How will she meet me? But when I met her, I said- ‘Hello mam’, she was like ‘why are you calling me mam’? I’m your fan you are a fan… moment happened. ‘Can I call you TK‘, she was like ‘yes you can’. We bonded a lot and the real chemistry is seen here, we shot in Goa. Nothing is Banawati in this.
So, are any other web-series music videos or daily your working with or will be doing any time soon?
I just worked with Sudhir Mishra sir recently with a film called Afwaah starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Bhumi Pednekar which just coming out soon, then another project Bas Karo Annu Aunty, then another one which will have me as a guest appearance. Some others are also lined up, shootings are happening, and some press conferences are going on. Soon things will be turning up and you all will get to see them.

What do you want to say to your fans, they showered so much love on you.
Yes, what I’m now is all because of them. Firstly it is Allah because of whom I’m here and then it’s my fans who have showered so much love on all my projects. I want everybody to go and watch my new song ‘Tu Mera’, available on YouTube, and make reels on it and tag us and we will post it on our page.
